Post a comment if you agree with the title! we want the good old snow biome back! if we will get a lot of support, the devs will MIGHT bring it back! I personally really but REALLY liked the old big snow biome! plz leave a comment and the devs will be change it!
Agree
It would be great if they will do it.
I'd like to see the entire map increase in overall scale - so a large snow biome and a HUGE VAST perhaps radiation ridden resourceless zone like the legacy map. This would come in particular use when vehicles make a come in
agree
Be larger and cooler.
I would use the jacket.
I think what people liked about the snow biome (well me anyway) was the additional survival challenge and its quieter. As a solo or small group player, I like being left alone for several game days at a time, if you want pvp, I can then go look for it.
Just me?
This is what I'd love about a wasteland biome. Nothing there but pockets of radiation requiring a full rad suit all the time and frequent trips into the populated zones for supplies.
I have only started playing recently, what has changed with the snow biome. I'm intrigued, enlighten me folks!

it used to be all out winter and very big, it had a great feeeling to it and was a lot harder to servive, it was probably the most fun challanging area to live ...but now its a joke

everyone is drooling over the shitty 3k and 4k maps, pvp whores and offline raiders love them too much
They should bring the size of legacy map. Snow should be like 4-3k at least and the rest should duplicate with 4k (2k forest 2k desert biome)
first server i played on was 5500 in size, i believe that's 30 square kms, it was mind blowingly beautiful
Bring the snow biome back plz!
You know what else used to be great aside from the snow biome? The forest. It used to be an actual forest... a thick forest. A forest where you could get lost even. It was that thick.
Really miss the atmospheric elements. The desert used to be a desert. You could feel the sand. Now there are rocks everywhere. So many rocks... And there are no forests. That's right - no forest. Not sure where you're from, but if you thought what you see in the game right now is a forest, then you havn't seen a forest in your life. You're like an African who has never seen snow before, only seen it in television or something, wondering what it would be like. The forests in game look like parks. That's how i see them now. Some parks have even more forest-like areas than a forest in Rust.
I remember getting lost in one of the forests. It was late, it got darker and darker. Then i found a random house in the middle of the forest lighted up with a cozy fireplace. Felt like Hansel and Gretel there, with that random house in god knows where in the thick forest... I was killed in it. And i was probably eaten, at least that's what i like to think.
(I know it looks like im bashing the game, but i do it for a reason - no offence intended, more like expression of disappointment)

your only saying what most already think
your spot on with your thoughts,
but i can only assume that the devs reason for cutting down vanilla map size to 3k ,and thinning out the biomes to the point that there is not a lot of difference between biomes, is that they were worried that a lot of people did not interact and hide away in their respective biomes which for me spoils the game some what, because i would like to have the choice to play a more pve or pvp style game as and when i feel on the same server not be forced into instant battles and defending because everyone as to build too close to each other
And i feel i speak for a lot of others that think the same, because the large different biomes and widerness were a great fun part of the game as well as the pvp

There is a simple soulation for that. You should balance the size of the map to the player base.
For example, server with high pop (100-200 players a day) should have 6-5k map size in my opnion.
Server that have above than 200 playesr (THere is servers that actulley reach to 500) will have 8-6k size. Could be great. You want to find yourself alone in the biomes, but also being found by other players.
I'm not expert, but I believe (hope) its to do with performance, perhaps the dreaded entity count? Hopefully when unity sort themselves out it'll improve.
But I'd agree with sneak, I would really like a biome or area where I could be on my own and choose when and where to engage in pvp.
I'd love the idea of say the snow biome being so big, you'd have to plan and be prepared for a journey. Desert offering similar challenges. It does concern me that this game is turning into a battle royal type thing what

thats sounds simple but it does not give us back our large biome systems back if its a 3k map and i know that even with 100 players on a 3k map it can feel really cluttered and cramped i feel 3k maps are just for out and out pvp
