After the first day it is impossible to go anywhere(radtown, farming areas even streets). Every server I go the second day 89% of all player will just roofcamp wirth bolts even after bp wipe because it is to easy to get.
People who like fair pvp (most of the early/mid game combat) can actualy leave every server after day 1. If the xp system doesnt come in very quick we will have problems with new content that might be powerfull(4x scope + bolt).
go play battle royal
Ok so if 89% made it to the late game in the 2nd day and you didn't, how did that make you feel?
One honest advice: Learn to be stealthy and you'll get your loot.
Maybe you should really try playing some battle royale first for combat experience.

You can't really control how the current system works at the moment, but I feel like the xp system won't make too much of a difference, if one guy has enough time to grind out all the stuff, then bam they'll be crafting bolts in a day.

Well, at least not in one day. But of course you have the people who can play all day long while others have a job or social requirements. This will always be the same with or without the XP system. Nevertheless I guess that a change in servers will happen soon.
People who can play all day or earn their money by playing Rust will play on very busy populated servers. These servers require some experience in Rust otherwise you'll be defeated almost instantly. The other servers are more crowded (a lot of sleepers) where not everybody is online at the same time, but still has enough people to experience PvP. So server 1 has 250 people total and 200 people are online at the same time (with 200 max). Server 2 has 500 people and has 150 people online (200 max). The difference is that on the second server there are some people who will enter and leave after some hours as well as the other 500 players. This causes them to level at the same speed. In server 1 everybody just levels as well at the same speed, but much faster.
Players of server 2 are not very smart to enter server 1. Players from server 1 will not experience the same intensive gameplay if they enter server 2.
I guess this will be established once.
Well, there was Ages Rust server, but it got shut down some time ago, due to not many people playing it...
