Hello there, seems like I am facing certain problems with Rust. I get disconnected every now and then randomly. Other times I get the "disconnected: timed out" or just no message at all and I am back to the main menu and obviously not connected to the server anymore. I've also had the EAC error message once or twice in the past ...but that hasn't happened for a while now. I'd like to try every single step in order to eliminate this problem and I will provide any kind of info that you might need ofc. I do use wifi...but let me say this now, for clarification. I have a 100% signal strength, 0 packet loss ( I use several programs to track that live and full time) the jitter is almost non existant too and I haven't been having any problems with other games. Also the current server I am playing on, hasn't been reported of having connectivity issues whatsoever and my friends don't get that either, or at least not as often in RUST in general.

tends to be dodgy modem settings, something actively blocking EAC or security settings. there are a few threads with suggestions on how to fix it, but i'd start by restarting both your modem and computer, and ensuring your antivirus/firewall is not blocking EAC.
If my firewall was blocking the EAC...wouldn't I be unable to play at all? Or even log to a server? Also I've restarted my pc and my router quite a few times and it hasn't helped at all. Neither has any of the suggestions I've found online. Which is why I am looking for fresh suggestions here.
P.S. I Also just tried with ethernet and still the same problem of random DC...and let me repeat this: This ONLY happens with this game...no other game whatsoever has given me any such troubles.

which ever way up you look, its most likly to be one of two things "EAC" giving you problems with router or decync problems

That only happened once or twice and hasn't happened for quite some time...just thought of mentioning it. My main problem is the "Disconnect: timed out" . That happens every 20-30 mins.
