You need the AK blueprint, before you can use it, it's only a skin not the actual blueprint it's self, mainly because that would be pay to win otherwise.
I had this issue myself, I found that restarting steam completely (as in closing it down in the task manager) and then opening it all back up again got me my items! Hopefully it fixes it for you.
