• How to report someone with "no name"?

Hello again, Came across someone which appeared fishy when I was roaming around with my friends but couldn't report him because he didn't have a name. Is this related to the "strange" characters that rust cannot display? I have the profiles to his friends, but as they weren't hacking or at least I believe they were not I cannot report them in rusthackreport twitter. uh, thats a tough one - but you have a screenshot and if you can talk with the admins on the server, they can find out.

Cause its official Amsterdam 3 So it will be a matter of Holmzy, Buck Sexingston or Alistair... Lets see if they read this post ^^

Seems it was a matter of time ;)

First off, he did not one shot you it took about 3 shots in the first place and even if he did it'd require a headshot and you weren't wearing any head protection from what I can see with your friends. You went back and literally destroyed them, there's nothing fishy about this player except not having a name, which some people do either to avoid being called out later in chat or to try and avoid getting reported. If they're "hacking" they'll be banned at the end of the day anyway.

Now, if you follow up the video and the subtitles, you can see the voice and the text that says that "he one-shotted me" is not me. I know it may be a little difficult to follow up, but if you look closely as you said correctly the guy hits me 3 times, and of what I know of revolver damage against a coffee can helmet, it was 3 headshots I can assume (first fishy thing..) To verify I had a coffee can helmet, you can check the video again and you can see in 1:12 (thanks to a bug in rust when you die and you respawn, that first time you open the inventory you can see how you were geared for a microsecond) The second fishy thing is that both of my friends got also headshotted and one even apparently got shot through the wooden wall (cant confirm this last one) Eitherway, if you try to hide your name, the possibilities of doing something not legit are quite high, so in this case it was a mix of the fight we had and his "no name". We are pleased to see that he got caught at the end, but not always hackers get "banned at the end of the day", sometimes you need to get an admin to check it out for you, and in this case you couldn't report the guy as he didnt have a name to refer to.
