Hi, I'm a fairly new user to Rust and have only played about a month so I don't know how common it was/is that servers are down for long. I'm just wondering if anyone here can shed some light on why at least the server i play on (Manchester Small 1) has been down for around 4-5 days and if it is ever going to be back up. I need my rust and I really don't want to have to change servers or start over.

This is the reason I stopped playing on official servers, had this happen to two other officials I used to play on (Seattle ones, they got DDOSed to the next world and then shut down permanently), along with bonus BP wipes because pumpkins were killing the offiicals at one point (or something) then they reduced the map size and at that point I'd lost so many friends from them scattering to other servers and was so tired of farming the same BPs all over again I settled down on a community vanilla instead.
