Hey.
I just bought Rust about an hour ago in order to play with my friends.
They played on a community server ("Das Dorf", steam group here: [url]http://steamcommunity.com/groups/Das_Dorf_Vanilla[/url]).
I have 2 VAC Bans on my account, in Modern Warfare 2 and 3 because I once got into a hacked lobby (I wasn't the hacker) and got banned for getting my level "boosted" by the hacker (unintentionally).
Now, when I joined the Rust server, I instantly got banned. It said something like "VAC bans (2) > 1".
After all I tried to play on my other account which has no VAC bans at all via Family Share, getting the error: "Disconnected: Auth: Banned" whenever I join.
Is there something I can do, maybe in order to at least play on my account without the VAC bans?

First of all you're lying about not "hacking" because you can't get VAC bans for a boosted lvl after joining a hacked lobby, steam even made guidelines about lobby's. And you've joined a community server where a server ban will happen if you've got a VAC on an alt account or on your main. It's usually to keep past cheaters from ruining their server and just for a future reference don't bother trying to join back with more alts, because the server admin usually runs plugins to check for family shared accounts and VAC's, but it's up to you. Luckily you've shared both accounts so the admins who do check this forum will have an easier time banning these two accounts for when you try join their server.

But yeah, no! You've to create a new account and buy rust again. Nothing more you can actually do.

Don't worry, I talked with the admin of "Das_Dorf_Vanilla" and got both accounts banned off there, please feel free to waste another 20$ and help develop this great game.
