[question]:
I've been using Reshade for close to a week now, but I couldn't seem to find any information of it being EAC -bannable. Is this the case or not? Since Reshade is an injector, I'd assume the EAC members could see it being injected within my client? (right? .. ) But can they actually distinguish it from a cheat? I remember back in Battlefield 3 when there was a little shit-storm (<-- that isn't a typo, I'd wrote it as such to avoid breaking any form of a rule .. ) going around that using the SweetFx injector could get you banned.
[FYI]:
I haven't yet logged on to any Official server, I usually just play on PVE servers. I'd really appreciate any help I could get on the subject. Thanks in advance, stum: (BOT)Orion, Stealhelm.

If you have to ask that question then yes it is. Why would you want to use that anyway.
You answered you're own question in the post.
Being a noob about this. For what exactly do you need reshade?

You don't "need" it for anything it's intended to add filters and extra effects to games but it can be used in such a way to give an advantage.
Also OP Can I just point this out ....... you didn't look very far

Unless someone from EAC can clarify as I don't work for EAC I would say you shouldn't use as you may risk being banned. Whilst then intent may be not to cheat but give you a more visually appealing experience. The fact is that program can be used to modify assets and textures in games, this will likely result in a ban as anti-cheat software would detect it.

"The fact is that program can be used to modify assets and textures in games" No, no it can't. I've actually never heard of the injector being used for such intents. That seems very far fetched (IMHO). I've used it for a considerable amount of time in various forms of games. Rust isn't that great looking of a game, it (just like any other game) has its problems. I use Reshade to not only add my own personal touch to the game (enhance colors etc.. ) but to also hide some of its visual flaws, such as its 'ambient occlusion' being laughably weak. Something I've fixed by using Marty's library.
I was sure Garry had fiddled around with the anti-cheat a fair bit; I was better of asking here than assuming. And because you did this to me I shall reply in a similar fashion. "Why would you want to use that anyway? ..Whilst then the intent may be not to cheat but give you a more visually appealing experience. .." , you've already answered your own question.

Then you have no idea what you're talking about.
A shader injector and a cheat such as a wallhack work in the exact same way. There's no functional difference.
Any anti-cheat worth its salt will determine a shader injector is a hack. It may work in some VAC games due to Valve only detecting 'known' cheats, but that doesn't change what your injector is doing.

This exact program was used to remove textures from a game I once played to enable you to essentially see though walls, I'm not just making it up.
You know that's fine don't believe me all you want continue using it, not telling you what to do. But it may be detected as a injector and have you EAC banned if you feel its worth the risk then by all means go ahead OP
Love your attitude btw if you spent 10 seconds checking the link I gave you on the Programs website you'd see that it's most likely not EAC safe, as you can see by the "7 Days to Die" image seen as Rust isn't listed but it still uses EAC what do you think?
How cute for being all edgy cos you didn't get the answer you wanted.

I never claimed to be a expert on the subject, I only stated something I couldn't find evidence for. But thank you for clarifying nonetheless. It's greatly appreciated.

Well, considering I searched, to no avail, post replying to you, I'd say you're still lacking any form of evidence to back your statement. I've never heard of it, and I've been googling quite a bit. Could you post a link, if that is agreeable to the rules that is.

I've sent you a PM just because you can't find it doesn't mean it's safe.
It's also besides the point anyway the program you are using injects into memory, something that cheats/hacks do.
