Hey Facepunch, been a while since I posted in the Gmod section of these forums.
My problem is a simple one, when I attempt to join a DarkRP server, Gmod crashes after finishing the addon downloads, without an error message of any kind.
I have already tried the following:
Re-installing all addons
Re-installing the map
Re-installing Gmod completely
Pre-loading the map in single player mode before joining the server
Running in windowed mode
Lowering all video settings to minimum
I can join sandbox and TTT servers without any issues.

that was one of the solutions i tried that i mentioned in the op.

You said you reinstalled them, as in, took them off then put them back in, not specifically took them off then tested it. Verify integrity of game cache, and try running the game with -dxlevel 80
