What is causing Gmod to freeze and crash randomly in singleplayer?

After Ctrl + Alt + Deleting out and going back in, I can still hear the game functions. I still hear Switching weapons via the HUD and opening and closing the menu. I don't know what to do at this point since I am almost guaranteed to crash at some point, and I can't make any progress on my screenshots. Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?

Sounds like your display driver is crashing. Try updating your graphics card drivers.

I'll have to work on that tomorrow. Hopefully it works.
