Garry's Mod keeps updating its self when no updates in the news.

Hello. Sometimes when I start up steam, somethind downloads. I look at what's DLing, and its Garry's Mod. I just think "Oh there's a new update to garry's mod! Ima check the news to see what's new". I check the news but no updates that are recent. If anyone has an explanation for this please explain. It aggravates me that there aren't any recent updates..

That's a source engine update not a garry's mod update.
