• AMD drivers making computer crash?

No matter what game i play, the computer/game will eventually crash. The computer freeze(I think, but I still hear music or sound running, but eventually it goes ballistic and lags) and the screen goes black, so i have to turn off the computer. But, sometimes when I press CTRL, ALT+DEL, i can enter windows task manager and end the game before its too late. Then a small window thingy pops up and tells me there's something wrong with the amd drivers. The only game ive been able to play through without any problems is Crysis 2. Is there something wrong with the latest driver update? Specs: XFX 5870 i5 2500 8gb I'm sure thats all the components you need to know about
Sounds like overheat, does computer have a proper cooling of insides? Video card generates a lot of heat, and at some point it reaches point where it cannot work in such temperature and stops working or start to fail. Increase coolers speed and/or add few more. And look at temperature monitor more often.(Also it good time to start)
Nothing suspicious with the temperatures, never gotten any vorse than 75 under load. I've turned off every power-saving features(I think). I have uninstalled the drivers and used drive sweeper then installed the newest drivers. underclocked. cant really remember what else ive tried
