• FastDL problem.

I'm almost positive im doing everything right. I have the download url, everyting is allowed but nothing is downloaded when joing the server. My Server.cfg: [CODE]sv_downloadurl "http://www.scnggames.com/garrysmod/" sv_allowupload "1" sv_allowdownload "1" [/CODE] Inside my ftp i have a folder names garrysmod, and inside of that I have maps, materials, models, and sound. The thing is, I know how to set up a FastDL, I've had 3 Counter-Strike Servers before. All of them worked fine so im almost positive my file struucture and URL are okay. I've done some research and I know gmod 12 and down required changing the cache file for updated addons, but I dont have any addons, I'm running my own gamemode. So I'm not sure weather its a problem with a missing file, a command I need to put into the config, or if I need to include the gamemode files, Please help. Now my textures aren't being downloaded!
Are you using Resource.AddFile("")?
Turn sv_allowdownload and sv_allowupload to 0 as those are the built in SRCDS slow download variables.

Im having the same issue. I used the generator to and I know my fast DL is linked correctly. 2$ to the guy who posts the solution. (Can pay for your beer!)

OMFG I'VE SOLVED IT! Okay, by default [URL="http://www.wiremod.com/forum/off-topic/30810-fox-warriors-resources-generator-updated-gmod-13-a.html"]Fow-Warriors Generator[/URL] doesn't include the extra files in your models folder (.vtt, .vtx, .phy). When you include those, generate the list, and include it, the FastDL works fine, and you get the textures because you get the .vvt, etc. [IMG]http://gyazo.com/2176c933e36e6f6a774f7ba3a81d8637.png?1358057795[/IMG]
resource.AddFile adds those for you automatically when you add the .mdl and .vtf

I've been running servers too, granted they were counter strike ones, anyway what you mean by different casing?
ie. models/player/mymodel.mdl models/player/Mymodel.vtx materials/bananalard/hi.vtf materials/bananalard/hi.VMT [editline]13th January 2013[/editline] (if your FastDL server is Linux it will look for that file exactly, since hello is not the same as [b]H[/b]ello)
