Hello, I want to setup my server so that the user doesn't download all the required files into a temp. folder, but downloads them (When connecting), Into a permanent folder. How could I do that?

I thought Garry's Mod kept files permanently anyway.

If people are downloading the files every time they join, they probably aren't actually being downloaded, as GMod will skip files that it can't download. Are they in the right place?

You forgot to extract all your addons. You have to move all your addons into the main garrysmod folder, but only on the FastDL server, not in the srcds folder, (for example, "addons/wire/lua/wire/WireGates.lua" is moved to "lua/wire/WireGates.lua")
