• Quick legacy addon question

One of my addons seems to be conflicting with something and disabling the Workshop addons doesnt work so I think its one of the legacy ones actually I have a suspicion of which one in particular is doing it. However there's a lot of files a couple of gigabytes and moving them all out of the folder and back in would take up a lot of time really. If I just renamed the addon.txt to something else, would that work, or should I move it anyways because it maybe try to load the file anyways? (I've seen other programs that do that.) Just wondering that thank you.
You can do one of two things, Rename addon.txt to info.txt (gmod12 info) so that you still know it's the addon.txt You could also put the addon in another folder ie stop/acf/ADDONTHINGS
Yes I was considering changing the addon.txt to info.txt so the game wouldn't try to load it and so I didn't have to move the entire folder out Anyways the issue's resolved now as when I moved the addon out the glitching went away. (Mainly it was textures being wrong which is because I had a big model/texture pack i was experimenting with. I can just pull the models i need)
