Blood Particle not Changing after installing addon

He there. I found this addon lying around in garrysmod.org. It replaces the blood effect from gmod and instead makes a squirt-like effect.

So i stick the .pcf in my particles folder, test it, doesn't work. Still the default one. Tried creating a folder in the Addons folder, adding a addon.txt file, then a particle folder and stuck the .pcf there. Still nothing.

Help?
