Uninstall and Reinstall

I recently uninstalled Gmod, which I have done before, that includes deleting the garrysmod folder so when I reinstall I get a fresh start, so when I reinstalled it the weapons and gravity gun were gone, all I have is the physgun and tool gun, which also happened when I uninstalled it previously. So after three times of uninstall, delete and reinstall I decided to ask for help here.

Please tell me why this happened and how to fix it.

I know what cache files are, but I don't know what you mean by that.

What source games do you have installed?

I have CSS and DoD installed.

Then verify your cache and defrag gmod cache files.

Sorry I didn't realize what the picture above was for, until you put the circle there. I thought it was just for installed games.

So I verified and defraged my cache but when I load a game the weapons and gravity gun are still gone. And I also noticed that the materials from CSS are gone too, by which I mean when using the material tool the CSS materials are not present to select.

For weapons. Q-menu - Utilities - Admin - Settings - Check "Allow Weapons"

Wow... so simple for the weapons. Lol!

But CSS is already installed. Before I unistalled Gmod I downloaded Spacebuild and when I used spacebuild the CSS materials dissappered. Almost as if the spacebuild materials took over the CSS materials.

Anyone?
