So I had to do a system restore a few weeks ago due to a virus, and when I reinstalled steam and all of my games, I noticed an odd bug I've never experienced before. When I spawn Half Life 2 prison guards, their eyes are grey instead of yellow. Also, some textures are missing, and I can't seem to see fire. Upon opening half life 2, the prison guard's eyes are yellow and I can see everything fine. Please tell me what I can do to fix this :) thanks
Hmm. Try starting it again if you didn't start garrys mod after opening half-life. Its recommend if you install garrys mod, start the source games once and come back to garrys mod with the errors fixed. Other wise, try verifying the game files.

I've done all of this, including verifying the files. None of that worked for some odd reason.

When there's a spot where there's supposed to be fire, the console will say

Just reinstalled steam, and all of my games, with no changes in the graphics. This is really starting to irritate me.
