Hello. I have a fairly high end system yet I can go down to 30fps in certain situations.
I have a GTX 680 and a i5-2500k overclocked to 4ghz.
The best example I can think of right now is that my fps will drop when looking at the lobby in GMod tower.
If I look at the ground or a wall, the problems stops.
Anyone know what the problem is?
EDIT: I don't lag in Single Player but that may just be because there are less objects. Could it be a internet issue? My internet provider [I]claims[/I] to supply 10mb download speeds.

So its not your internet, Im thinking it might have something to do with the load on the GMTower Server. How many players are usually on at once?

Are there any other places where you lag at all? Any other servers? If so, what maps are they on?

There are generally 70-100 players I believe.
I don't think they're usually in the same vicinity however.
I don't play a lot of Garry's Mod so I can't speak for other servers.
I do lag in TF2 in the same manner, though; generally this drop in FPS happens when I look at other players.
EDIT: If this is a normal thing for a server this big I'd expect people to comment on it, but I haven't seen anyone talk about the lag.
