I downloaded some stuff (maps, weapons, etc.) from the gmod website. How do i use these items in gmod because they arent showing up?

sorry about that. i went to garry's mod downloads (link here: [url]http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/[/url] ) and i was just wondering how i would get these implemented into gmod.

downloads i got include the dismemberment mod, a weapons customization pack, and about 2 or 3 others.
