I have it mounted in game but i cant spawn any props from it, I've played the game and still nothing.
Tried validating the integrity of l4d files?
I have this problem, too. The game refuses to mount L4D despite how I have it checked in the mounting menu. I tried reinstalling Gmod and verifying the files for L4D, and those two don't seem to help. I seriously hope someone has a solution to this.

Did any of you have custom campaigns installed on L4D or something? Because I think that might be why Gmod refuses to mount L4D.
You're probably going to have to reinstall L4D, because I tried removing the addons, and just doing that didn't fix the problem.

Well that's weird. Not even reinstalling L4D still seems to fix the problem for me.
This is a current bug and will be fixed in the next update
