Ok so I downloaded gmod on my new laptop(I had gmod before on my old one) and I noticed I can't rotate props with the physgun. I know how to do it I use left click as my use key so I normally hold right click, left click and rotate, but it doesn't work! can someone please help me thanks
By default you gotta pick up the prop with left click and hold E to rotate it ( and Shift to snap to 45 degree rotation )
Yes but on my other laptop I could rotate perfectly and suddenly on my new one it doesn't rotate and it's so annoyingly when I wanna build stuff because I have to like walk round with the prop to get it at the right angle
Do you use your touch pad or a mouse?
Touch pad
On most laptops the touch pad gets disabled once you press a key. Make sure to disable that function or get a mouse because playing with touch pad is the worst idea.
I'm used to touchpad and also I don't really have space for a mouse on my desk. I was having problems with the spawn menu and mouse not working but I disabled it

Ok so I found out that changing it to e allows me to rotate so I guess I have to stick with e
Ok so I've been a bit to busy to post but i found out it was to do with my laptops anti accidental input thing. Found out I had to delete the mouse from driver now it works properly. I now use e as use key and left click as secondry fire and right click as primary thx for all your help guys
