How to remove the Dupes tab COMPLETELY? (client and server)

Since some people have nothing better to do than to create porn dupes, I need to completely remove the Dupes tab from my kids' PCs. Did Garry forget that kids play this game as well? /facepalm

gmod wasnt designed for kids so i dont think there is way to do it

I always thought GMod was for everyone. My oldest, who is now 14, has been playing it since he was 8. At least before, I could control what addon and dupe content was on the server and clients. Now with GMod 13, allowing Dupes to stream directly into the game unfiltered is going to be a game killer for a lot of parents.

I'll see if I can block the connection at the firewall, and also make the request for it to be added to a future release. But I would really appreciate any help available to disable it (if possible). If all attempts turn out unsuccessful, that's 5 veteran copies getting uninstalled. :(

If it's blocked from the game, they can use the browser to subscribe to them.

Your best bet is to block the site using a firewall or similar.
