• Garry's Mod still stuck at blue screen with the "Loading..." icon at the bottom right.

I need help with my Gmod, which never loads. The "Preparing to Launch Garry's Mod" works fine, however the blue loading screen is where my main problem lies. I have tried to delete all of my addons, verify integrity of game cache, defrag cache files, delete my garrysmod folder, uninstall then reinstall my game, tried different dxlevels, and it still doesn't work. I even checked to see if I had a virus (I use ZoneAlarm by the way) and it says I have zero infections, so what's up with my Gmod? All of my other games work just fine, so I don't know what's the deal. Please help.
Specs?
Specs?
System Model: HP 2000 Notebook PC Processor: AMD E-300 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics (2 CPUs), ~1.3GHz Memory: 5120MB RAM Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) DirectX Version: DirectX 11 As you can see, my computer may not be the best, but I can still run Source games perfectly fine. It was only recently when my Gmod started having loading problems.

Your processor is not reaching the requited GHz. Beware that Gmod doesn't support multithreading anymore.
Minimum: OS: Windows® Vista/XP/2000 Processor: 1.7 GHz Processor Memory: 512MB RAM Graphics: DirectX® 8.1 level Graphics Card (Requires support for SSE) Hard Drive: 150 MB Other Requirements: Internet Connection

I was looking into the multithreading stuff today. The way Valve multithreads is pretty clever, because it’s self contained and avoids most of the usual bullshit with multithreading. While I’m here, let me just say, don’t be messing with the thread convars. If it’s switched off it’s switched off for a reason. Don’t turn them on and start crashing then start sending me MDMPs saying this is the worst patch ever, because it’s your fault. It’s like complaining that the game exits when you type exit in the console. But anyway, I added some mutexes in and shit so Lua won’t crap out when running the multithreaded code. Which we’re not yet so don’t switch it on jesus christ.

Your processor is not reaching the requited GHz. Beware that Gmod doesn't support multithreading anymore.
I just said Gmod worked fine with those specs before, but now it can't load up. This has absolutely nothing to do with my specs. Is it some update or bug?
Bump
Stop bumping. As Nak said, your computer does not output the required GHz needed for GMod. Just because it worked before, that doesn't mean after an update it will fail to work.

Just because it worked before, that doesn't mean after an update it will fail to work.
That, and dropping support for Multithreading will kill ya. I need to look for the source of that post, because I think it's false, or not complete. If you look at the hl2.exe it usually has 19 threads... This game would not run smooth at all if it weren't for multi-threading. That quote was probably taken out of context whereas he is referring to the lua calls or something...
