Okay, so Gmod loads up fine, but I'm not getting any TF2 maps. I have TF2 content, but no maps. I have a maps folder in TF2, but it's full of the downloaded maps from servers. TF2 is checked off in the content menu, so I don't see what the issue is.
Have you actually ran TF2 before Gmod? That is usually the issue
You always need to launch a game once and you can just leave it at the main menu if you want it working in Garry's Mod, if it supports it.

Lol, I play TF2 daily. I've been playing it way before I bought Gmod.
