So recently my server is broken from the GMOD UPDATE 161 and it can't even start up at all. I contacted my host(which is NFOservers) and asked why isn't it starting. They replied that the gmod update broke something on my server and I will have to go through each file and delete them until it works again. This is a managed server so I cannot look at the console when it starts booting up. They can't find the issue with my server and recommended for me to restore it back to default. Is there a way to find out what is broken more easier? I really want the server to be back up as soon as possible.
This happened to me too. Delete your bin folder in garrysmod gamefolder and the orangebox folder. Then, run the steam update again. Hope that works :)
