When ever I get hit in gmod-ttt, the red effect overlay on the screen stays for to long and is to strong so I cant see anything when i get hit how can I fix this?
Red effect? This isn't there by default; what addons do you have?

I'm not asking about mounted games, I'm asking about your addons. Like ones in garrysmod/addons and off the workshop that are on your server.

This is a common problem, it will only stop if you kill yourself (type kill in console) or die.

you try what roag15 said? It makes sense that you should. enable the developer console in gmod (go to gmod settings, keyboard tab, advanced, check the box by developer console) push ok on both windows, load up a map, click on the options button again. on your keybored, press ~, and type kill

No like its not a permanent effect, it like fades away eventually and it has always done this
You must have an addon or something, because this doesn't happen by default.
Perhaps an irrelivant question, but do you have low FPS? Or run on lower settings?

If it is, its a addon from the server, and I dont know them
Hm, if it's not too forward of me could I ask you to join my TTT server and see if you get the same issue (or any other server), just to narrow down the options.

Problem solved, he seems to just dislike the normal TTT damage effect.
