Is it possible to make background music for the loading screen?

I know it is possible for the main menu, but what about the loading screen, because thats where i think it is most needed because it takes so long

i know it would not be ideal, but is it possible? Is the source engine really that unstable, why is that?

yes, but it will only play while downloading files

It was possible with goldsrc, and it had 0 fps when it was loading. I don't see why it wouldn't be possible, ofcourse source is an entirely different engine.
