Play with a Friend?

Hey everyone, I would love a little bit of help. Me and a buddy would like to play multiplayer together alone and not on any public server. When you go to ''Start a new game'' there's an multiplayer option could anyone explain how that option works? Thanks :smile:

Sure.

Pick your map that you want to play on, then click Start Multiplayer.

Once it loads, go into your console and type the following:

sv_lan 0
heartbeat

Then tell your friend to join. If you did this all correctly, you have successfully created a Listen server!

Right.

type sbox_maxprops then the amount of props you'd like

For example:

sbox_maxprops 99999

There are also other sbox commands.

sbox_maxballoons

sbox_maxlamps
sbox_maxlights
