I really hope this is in the correct subforum, but ill give it a go.
Just recently, about a week ago, my Garry's Mod started to get constant errors after playing on a multiplayer server and sometime singleplayer after only 15 or 20 minutes.
I've reinstalled steam, Garry's Mod, and even reinstalling drivers, even though they where up to date. Im in need of an answer, because this is really agitating, and i can't stand having it happen
when im in the middle of working on something.
SYSTEM SPECS:
CPU: AMD Phenom(TM) IIX2 560 Processor 3.30 GHz
Ram: 6:00 GB
OS: Windows 8 Consumer Preview 32-bit
GPU: ATI Radeon HD 5770
SIDE NOTE:
Yes i know it's windows 8. However, nothing has happened to my other games, and they run just as great as before. Like I said i did reinstall ll of my drivers after moving to it. It's just Garry's Mod is consistently crashes. Only one of my games that does it.
Well... I think you pretty much answered your own question. OS: Windows 8 Consumer Preview which is also known as Beta version.
You are trying out the unfinished product, an OS that doesn't even have "proper" drivers for your components yet. Naturally it will be buggy from time to time.. You agreed to this when installed it.
Also I don't really get why did you install 32-bit version if you have 6GB of RAM, that limited you to around 3GB of RAM.
