A long time ago i'm talking at least 3-4 years I've been voiced banned because I was childish and wanted to talk rude to people in DarkRP or TTT and I can't hear or even talk to people in game on Garry's mod, my mic works on any other game but not this one. when I go into my Garrys mod folder it has a file saying "Voice Ban" and that's why I'm assuming that I cant talk and when I turn my Transmit volume up and click apply and then go back to options its all the way down again. I've looked all over the internet just so I am able to talk again and I cant find nothing on it... Honestly I've learned my lesson and I'd do anything to be able to talk again I hate typing in game because it's just not the same if anyone has any ideas or if there's any Garry's Mod High employed workers to unban me that'd be awesome please help me figure this out I'd appreciate any help.
I don't think there are voice bans in Garry's Mod. Are you sure it's not just on that server? Are you sure your mic is connected correctly through Steam?

My mic works through steam I've even tested it and works on TF2, Counter strike and all those games but when I go on Garrys mod no matter if its TTT or DarkRP or anything else I cant hear anyone or even talk when I do my button to talk and it even says under voice that its connected to my mic
You havent unbinded your "voice communication" key, have you? make sure its binded.

Make sure the key is binded correctly and Gmod is using the right microphone. I have this issue with some games (Chivalry, Reign of Kings, and CS:GO) all of wich were caused by my game using the wrong microphone.
What happens if you remove the "voice ban" file? Also just in case it is accidently unbinded type bind k "+voicerecord" into the console
Make sure you have voice_enable 1
