I'm not sure if anyone's posted about this already, but I too lazy to check. Well it all started after I downloaded like 2 mods I go and play GMOD and all of a sudden my Half-Life 2 weapons didn't make a sound (The guns orignally given (I don't have HL2)) then after I bought Counter Strike: Source, those guns wouldn't sound in GMOD also. And even some addon weapons remain silent. Someone have a solution?

Most obvious solution is to uninstall these mods. Or if there's nothing valuable in your Garry's Mod folder then just delete Steam\steamapps\YourName\[B]garrysmod[/B] folder all together.
If this won't help then you will have to "verify integrity of the GMOD game cache".
I'll try deleting garrysmod folder cause they are already uninstalled
