I have had Garry's mod for about 6-7 months, and I have never been able to get it to work. At first I was thinking its was only a temporary problem and would be resolved in a timely manner. But now, I think it is not a well-known problem, or not a common problem.
The problem is this
When I launch Garry's mod, I get the blue loading screen (No facepunch logo) , but then it stops, not showing anything more then just the blue screen. then I see the crash description. The crash description is this
[B]Couldn't load
C:/Program Files(x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/GarrysMod/garrysmod/bin/client.dll
Reason: The specified procedure could not be found
Please try again[/B]
I have no addons in my Garry's mod, and this has been an ongoing problem since when i first got Garry's mod.
This does not create a crash log, is this just a problem for steam of is this a Garry's mod problem

Have you validated your game cache by right clicking it in your library, going to properties, local files, verify integrity of game cache?
