As the title says, what is the best operating software for a VPS?
I will be hosting Teamspeak, website and gmod server.
Thanks

One of the linux versions; I use Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit. If you have absolutely no experience with linux, you shouldn't be trying to start a server.
Go with a Debian-based arch, Ubuntu is probably the best choice. As for the guy above, ignore him - you can't learn new things by being scared of learning new things simply because you don't have the knowledge yet.
For your website, go with the LEMP-stack. How-to here.
If you are completely uncomfortable with going with a GSP, then I would say windows if you are new to this stuff. Make sure you have like 1-2 cores and 1-2GB of RAM. I would go with NFO, their 'Tier-2' plan. It is literally like using your own computer, but just doing a couple of things different when setting the server up.

I can see where he's coming from, firing up a virtual machine with linux on it to practice makes a lot more sense than dropping 10-20 bucks on a linux VPS and simply not knowing what to do with it, possibly breaking something, whatever, definitely if you've never used linux before get a VM and try it first, windows servers vs linux servers is a pretty huge gap
though if you know what you're doing/really dont mind jumping in and learning ubuntu for source servers is probably the top choice linux wise
