• Server Updating TTT Error

My server's been crashing a lot lately and host was having some issues among other things, but short story is that I've completely started over from scratch. First thing I want to do is to update TTT to the latest version, so I downloaded the zip from https://github.com/garrynewman/garrysmod and pasted over the garrysmod folder (taking care to keep the server.cfg and all the important stuff). I load up TTT, the version number is the latest (2014-01-12 as I write) but I get the error: "MasterRequestRestart Please update your server and restart" and I cannot join the server as it says I'm running a different version of Garry's Mod. Anybody know what's going on?
You have to tell your host to run a SteamCMD update on your server. Maybe you're able to manually do it from your hosts control panel.

Backup your current version of TTT, tell them to update and then re-upload TTT. And yes, if you don't have this option in your control panel, you will have to tell them to update the server on their end.
