Delete the bin folder and run the hldsupdatetool again.
i already did that once and it worked one time then it started crashing again

Yeah that happens because the bins got corrupted somehow... to go into more detail on "deleting bin": delete orangebox/bin/ delete orangebox/srcds_linux delete orangebox/garrysmod/bin/ ./steam -command update -game tf -dir . ./steam -command update -game garrysmod -dir . -verify_all
