It's doing that and I have no idea why..
It works fine when I set the directX levels to between 81 and 89, but then I get white water with purple checkers underneath. I know directX 90 is the best one, but I can't use it unless someone knows a way to make my physgun.. not do that. That happened even before I had any addons or anything else downloaded onto it, so it isn't any of those things.
I've seen another guy reporting that today.

Your graphic card drivers might be outdated. Keeping your driving card updates up-to-date is necessary to get the latest bugfixes and performance updates. You could also try running the latest windows updates.
