Go to the Garry's Mod folder in "Steamapps" then go to "maps" and see if the .bsp files have names, if not , it has something to do with the GUI...
They all (The ones that usually have names) have names, and it's not just Gmod actually
It's both Gmod and TF2 (As far as I know)

What the hell are you talking about? Oh man...
Try verifying the integrity. Try re-installing. One of those two WILL work.
Probably the game cache file not unpacking properly.
