Garry's Mod launches then instantly crashes

I am currently having issues with launching and playing Garry's Mod. I have tried re-installing the game using all launch parameters. I have also tried verifying the game cache many times.

CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
System Type: 64-bit Operating System. Windows 8
GPU: NVIDA GeForce GT 630
Storage Space: 801 GB free of 1.81 TB.

Try verifying all your other source games

Thanks for your input. I have identified and fixed the problem. It was a matter of deleting some application named GameTracker. I don't know what it was doing to the game but it's fixed now
