Gmod wont get past the loading screen.

I try to play Gmod when it gets stuck on particles/fire_fx.pcf

I tried reinstalling Gmod, it didn't do anything at all.

Is there any way to fix this? Oh yeah, and don't tell me to reinstall Gmod. That's overused
