Can hear other players gun sounds

Hi. When I'm playing Gmod TTT I can hear my own gun's sound but I can't hear other players gun sounds. Any ideas on how I can fix this or what could be causing the server to do this?

Do you get any errors in the console?

No errors directly pop up everytime someone shoots. It only started to not make sound after the last GMOD update

Reinstall the server and make sure you don't install CSS in the same directory.

If you have scripts folder in your GMod folder, remove it. This may, or may not help.

Someone PM'd me saying that this can be caused by installing CS:S into the garrysmod directory.

Deleting scripts/ folder should fix it anyway.

I couldn't find a scripts/ folder in my gmod. I then reinstalled my server completely and still couldn't hear other players gun sounds

I had this issue, turned out to be the scripts folder.

Make sure none if your addons have scripts/ folder as well. Only exception are vehicle addons.

I reinstalled my server so all the addons were removed. I just checked everything again and there are no scripts/ folders anywhere. My server is TTT

But every single person on the server cannot hear other players gun sounds.

It's not a client issue. It only happens on some servers. Fixed it on mine by reinstalling and making sure css was installed in a different directory.

What directory did you move your css to?

Don't try to fix it, it's an issue with this current version of GMod. It will be fixed in next update.

i fixed it something like a half a year ago on my game

There's also an issue with TTT sounds. I'll be submitting a pull request to fix it tomorrow.
