Hello. my friend is having an issue, he cannot start Garrysmod without an error popping up. I knew the game switched to a new "pipe" so we've tried different things.
We've uninstalled the game, and deleted two old garrysmod folders but we didn't remove the backup named 'old_garrysmod'.
After searching on Google i've noticed there are hardly any forums with this topics on this issue, only about 5.
Hopefully someone could shine some light on this. :)

This apparently happens in other games too. My friend's half-life 1 isn't correctly installing. Could this be something server side?
He should probably reinstall steam if it is affecting a game that doesn't even run on the same engine as Garry's Mod
Yeah, we've come to that point. I'll suggest him to do that later.
