Hello, I have a Gmod server running on my own computer and would like to know how to allocate more RAM to my server to help it run smoother. I have 8GB of RAM and would like to put some of it to good use on my Gmod server. Can someone please tell me how to allocate more RAM? Thanks in advance.
What if it doesn't need more? It pretty much stores everything which is accessed in ram already. About the only thing I can think of is a ramdisk with the server on. But to be honest the game will consume more ram over time and when many objects exists in the game.
