Hi all,
I've just got into Garry's mod and source filmmaker, and all has been going well (following tutorials/searching forums) but there is a question or two that I cannot seem to find an answer to. WARNING: I am very new to gmod, so please excuse my ignorance!
1. Is there any way to save a model that I have edited in gmod to my computer, so that I can put it into SFM? E.g. I change the colour of a spartan model from white to orange, and want to put that edited model into Sfm.
2. More of a query, when using the body changer tool, a message on the top left corner reads "Something is causing a script error." Anyone have an idea why?
Sorry for the long post, and all help is much appreciated!
P.s I posted this in the wrong thread before and just realised.
1. There are probably some sort of settings in SFM to change the color of a model.
2. You are probably using some broken tool. I think the one on the workshop works, so you should use that instead: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104604943&searchtext=bodygroup
EDIT:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfCiC_7YWcg This video shows how to change a model's color in SFM. There are probably simpler ways, but that's just the first thing I found.
Thanks for your reply. Ill try both those things out. While on the subject, I had a look at the advanced duplicator tool. Does that enable you to save the edited model only to use snide gmod? Or could I use it to then import into a program like source filmmaker?
