:dance: Hello. I am new to facepunch , so im not entirely sure this is where my question should go.
I need help hosting a server. I've only hosted a minecraft server before so im new to hosting source servers.
So if you can explain to me how to a host a Garrys mod 13 server please do so.

Please help. How do i use SCRDS and where do i get gamemodes?
I hate to say it, but please research this on google first!
There are about 100 pages on how to host a srcds server with the search line "How to host srcds server"
Il give you a brief guide (you are going to still need to research it for yourself)
1: Download hldsupdatetool and install to your "c:\srcds" for example
2: make a .bat with something like this in [CODE]HldsUpdateTool.exe -command update -game garrysmod -dir games

3: Make a .bat to start your server, something like [CODE]
c:\gmod14\games\orangebox\srcds.exe -update -tickrate 33 -game garrysmod -port 27017 +sv_kickerrornum 0
pause

4: To install a gamemode such as DarkRP, find its download link (Not the steamworkshop) by researching it on google. [url]https://github.com/FPtje/DarkRP[/url]
5: Press the Zip button to download it as a .zip then extract it to C:\srcds\games\orangebox\garrysmod\addons
6: Start the server and enjoy!
(You also need to port forward 27015 and 27005 both TCP and UDP, but if you hosted MC before you know about this)
