Computer doesn't have enough memory

When i play gmod about 15 minutes i get a pop up saying : Computer doesn't have enough memory and give me two choices

-cancel
-close HL2

RAM 1.5GB
Disc C : 18 gb- D: 8 GB - F 800GB left (gmod is in F)

that really is not enough ram for gmod, or just about anything modern. heck, some maps of gmod can lag even the highest end gaming computers (perp on evocity for example). i suggest you get at least 2 gigs of ram, although 4 would be the best

Best thing to do here is get a better gaming setup man not much else you can do about it.

right click "my computer"

select "properties"

a window titled "system" should show up

select "advanced system settings"

a window titled "system properties" should show up

select the "advanced" tab

press "settings" under "performance"

a window titled "performance options" should show up

select the "advanced" tab

press "change..." under "virtual memory"

a window titled "virtual memory" should show up

select the drive "C:\"

select "no paging file"

press "set"

select the drive "D:\"

select "no paging file"

press "set"

select the drive "F:\"

select "custom size"

set "initial size" to "8192"

set "maximum size" to "8192"

press "set"

after that, close all the windows you opened and restart your computer
