On a whim I just got a new gmod server from artofwar, deciding I would make it a TTT server. After searching all day I still can't find an admin mod that works, or figure out how to make it to go into TTT. The most I am able to do with the server is play basic gmod.
Is there something I am missing about all of this? I am an oldschool gmod player that just got back in the game, is everything set up different than the simple drop files here setup?
Everything (mostly) is now run through the Gmod workshop implementation ([URL]http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse?appid=4000[/URL]), I'm currently using A Simple Server Modification addon for my administration system and it works fine (AssMod), you can download it via the workshop from in the game. Just go into Garry's Mod, click on "Addons", "Open Workshop" and you can search for Assmod there. Drag and drop addons that you would normally put in your addons folder are now considered "Legacy Addons", and require you to change the info.txt to addon.txt. While a lot of the addons still work, many of them don't if they haven't been updated for Gmod13. LASTLY, if you install legacy addons that are just models, you will need [URL="http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=104603291&searchtext=model+fix"][U]this[/U][/URL] in order to browse the models in game. To add addons that are in the workshop to a server, such as your rented server or SRCDS server, refer to [URL=http://wiki.garrysmod.com/page/Server/Workshop][u]this[/u][/url] page on how to do that.
