Since this morning Garry's Mod has been immediately closing on start-up. Since this morning I've validated like 4-6 times, restarted 3 times, and I've reinstalled GMod 2 times.
My friend told me to uninstall Gmod > Restart Comp > Reinstall > Restart Comp When Reinstalled and it didn't work for shit.
It has nothing to do with addons because I've had the exact same ones for the past few weeks and no errors regarding any of them. It was working just fine last night around 1 AM CST and there's a few threads regarding this on the Steam community hub.

Pamppupoika, have a friend sending his Garrysmod folder located at steamapps/common
delete yours and replace it with that one.

Right Click garry's mod in the librery and click SET LAUNCH OPTIONS and add this -dxlevel 90 and if that dont work try -dxlevel 91 or -dxlevel 95. it worked for me, seam's to be a directx issue that is making the game crash let me know if this work's for you.

Did not work, tried all 3
I've tried SEVERAL things, nothing seems to work and it's getting a bit irritating trying.
The same thing has been happening for me since the last patch. It's pissing me off. There is no reason is should be doing this. It needs to get fucking fixed.

It started with me yesterday morning CST, it was working at like 1 AM though.
Stopped working for me around like 2 PST Yesterday. Sucks....

That's about 4-6 AM CST, so that would be a probably exact time range of when it broke.

This problem is coused by IOBIT malware fighter.
Deinstall the program to fix your gmod.
