Number pad key bindings

I recently re-installed GMod and went to use thrusters, hoverballs etc only to find out none of the key bindings work for the number pad (yes num lock is on). If I open console for example and randomly type it recognizes 1,2,3 etc etc. I've tried re-binding them to the numberpad and they show up as Home, Right Arrow etc.

Any ideas what the issue is as this is also happening to someone else I know.
