Game Freeze when doing anything but standing/clicking. Jump to unfreeze? - Help

Recently, I was loading my GMOID and everything was fine, but I noticed that whenever I did something other than standing there/clicking with the Phys gun (I.E. Opening the 'Q' menu) It would freeze, until I let go of the button or jumped. It's a really weird bug. I unsubscribed from all of my addons, And tried it again, same problem, Re-installed DX, same problem, Changed my settings, same problem, I even completely removed GMOD from from computer and reinstalled it fresh, with no addons, and it still persists. Any way I can get some help?

When you press Q, the game loads every model in the default spawnlist. Naturally, this causes framerate drops.

So that is why I tried deleting all of my addons too. all of them. not one is left, I even deleted my garry's mod as a whole from my computer, and the problem is still there. and it's not just 'Q' it's the game as a whole. everything I do freezes, and to continue doing whatever I am doing I have to press space, or some other button simultaneously. -Edit- I also made sure to verify my game cache's integrity each time I tried each one, and every now and then I would get 1 file missing, and it would download it back, so I get the feeling that maybe that has something to do with my problem.

A lot of the problems lately have been due to people not updating their Source games and verifying them since their move to the Steam Pipe. Then check to make sure their mounted in Garry's Mod.

I'm not sure since this is the first I've heard abhout it. how do I go about checking if it is? and if not how do I go about doing so? -edit- It seems that for now the problem is solved. but for some reason I had to completely remove GMOD from my computer twice over, and then restart steam and then validate my files.... if the problem perists anytime afterwards i'll contact you guys again.

Also, to make sure each game is updated such as CSS, HL2 and the HL2 Episodes. Just play each Source game you own once and it should say it'll do a content conversion. Then just make sure their mounted in Garry's Mod, just in case you have more problems.
